Bilbao Spain Industry

Bilbao Estuary. The Nervion river flows into the sea in Bilbao. During last century, the estuary shaped an industrial landscape some 14 kilometres in length along the river. Today little of this development remains, but you can still see abandoned quays, warehouses, factories and steelworks. With the years the old factories have turned into a fascinating industrial archeology.

This is the first of a series on the Bilbao Estuary that I made two years ago. I will post some of them as I am forced to stay at home because of the knee lesion.
