Kursaal

San Sebastián. This is a detail of the same building in yesterday's post, The Kursaal.
It was built in 1999 by Rafael Moneo, one of the most famous architects in Spain, and at the time it was a shock for the very conservative people in town and a sharp contrast to the classical architecture of french style which dominates the town.
