Pieta


I don't use to photograph art works but in this case I couldn't resist the temptation.
This is the most famous Rondanini Pietà, a sculpture that Michelangelo worked on until the last days of his life. People are used to see the Pietà in St. Peter's Basilica, and the Florentine Pietà, but this one is so extremely tragic and simple that I am moved every time I look at it.
